AT&T customers have the option of Wireless Phone Insurance. The program provides you with quality, comprehensive service and a smooth claim filing process. The monthly premium will appear on your AT&T statement.
Key information regarding the insurance coverage:
Premium: $4.99 per month
Deductible: $50.00 per claim
A maximum of two (2) replacements of insured equipment will be allowed in any one twelve-month period, beginning with the date of the first replacement. After the second replacement in a twelve-month period, the customer will be canceled from the program. They can re-enroll twelve (12) months from the date of the second replacement.
Coverage Includes
Your wireless handset (includes phones and wireless handheld devices).
One (1) standard battery (as part of a covered wireless telephone loss).
One (1) standard charger.
Accessory coverage included at no additional premium includes: One leather case, or one vehicle power charger or one ear piece, and, if applicable, one SIM card per claim.
Filing a claim with lock\line is as easy as 1, 2, 3.
1. If your wireless phone is lost or stolen, call AT&T Customer Service at 1-800-331-0500 to temporarily suspend your wireless service.
2. Report a lost or stolen wireless phone to the police and obtain a police report number.
