CALL WAITING

Call Waiting lets you receive an incoming call when you're engaged in a conversation. After a tone alert, you can put the first call on hold and answer the second call. Consult the user guide included with your phone for instructions on how to use call waiting. You will incur airtime and any applicable long distance charges for both calls simultaneously.

Instructions for Use
To answer the second call, simply push the SEND, OK or TALK button your phone for about one half-second. Your first call is now on hold and you can talk to the second caller. To alternate between the two parties, press the SEND, OK or TALK button.

Airtime and/or long distance charges are incurred for both calls simultaneously.

CALLER ID
Caller ID enables you to know who’s calling before you answer a call.

Instructions for Use

When your phone rings, Caller ID shows the telephone number of the calling party on your phone’s display. Take important calls and let voice mail handle the rest.

NOTE: Caller ID is provided where available from the local telephone company

DETAILED BILLING

Detailed Billing lists your monthly call record in detail including numbers called, call durations, times and dates, air times, and long distance charges. You can also have your calls sorted by either phone number or date, for quicker reference.

NATIONWIDE LONG DISTANCE

Included long distance applies to calls within the 50 United States, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. International long distance rates vary. Customer must subscribe to AT&T Long Distance Service.

THREE WAY CALLING
With three-way calling, you can add a third party to a two-way conversation. Regular airtime charges, including long distance and roaming (if applicable) are charged for each call.

Instructions for Use:

    To Add A Third Party:
    • Dial the number of the third party, including the area code, while the original party is on the phone.
    • Press the SEND button. This sends the call to the third party and puts your original call on hold. (The SEND button may vary from phone model to phone model. It may say YES, TALK, or OK. It may also display a picture of a green handset.)
    • To establish the three-way call, push SEND again either before or after the third party answers.
    • If the third party is busy or does not answer, push SEND once to disconnect the third party.
    • An alternate third party can then be added by repeating the first two steps.

    To Remove A Party:
    • To remove just the third party in a three-way call, push the SEND button once. This restores the original two-way conversation and a new third party may be added.
    • To remove just the original party in the three-way call, the original party must hang up. This sets up a two-way call between you and the third party.
    • You may now add another party to the conversation. You should wait about 15 seconds before adding another third party.

    To End A Three-Party Call:
    • Either press the END button, or all three parties may hang up. You should wait about 15 seconds before placing another call.
During a three-way call, all callers are billed for the duration of each call. (The END button may vary from phone model to phone model. It may display a picture of a red handset.)
